Back in ’69 I sent a tape of some of my most brilliant songs to Apple.

Well, Decca rejected the Beatles… and Apple rejected me…

I went on to a totally inglorious recording career with Major Minor who, one week before my record - “Memories” by HAWK – was to be released, became bankrupt. Nearly all of the other acts – Karen Young, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Malcolm Roberts, etc… were picked up by MAM records – a new label. Sadly, HAWK disappeared forever…
